Intended parents should discuss the donation method, required screening, storage/transport, and legal parentage with a licensed fertility clinic and/or reproductive-law attorney. A private agreement does not necessarily determine legal parentage in every situation or jurisdiction.
Any insemination method should be discussed with the intended parent and an appropriate medical professional. For safety, STI and other screening should be current and repeated when appropriate.
